Tail Tips Affiliate Programme – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview The Tail Tips Affiliate Programme (the “Programme”) allows approved affiliates (“Affiliates”) to earn commission by promoting Tail Tips products using a unique referral link provided and tracked by our affiliate partner, ReferralCandy. By joining the Programme, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. 

2. Eligibility To participate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Have a valid PayPal account to receive commission payments
  • Use a personal Paypal account (PayPal does not support payouts to accounts set up us non-profit organisations)
  • Ensure that the PayPal is linked to a valid personal email address. Ensure that PayPal account is linked to the same email address used during affiliate registration Tail Tips is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect PayPal details, inactive accounts, or third-party payment processing issues. 
  • Comply with all applicable laws and platform rules (including Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms) Tail Tips reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its discretion. 

3. Commission & Rewards

  • Affiliates earn 10% commission on eligible sales made through their unique affiliate link
  • Commission is calculated on the net order value, excluding shipping, taxes, refunds, and discounts
  • Orders must meet the minimum spend of £15 (excluding shipping fee and other discounts) to qualify.
  • There is no guarantee of earnings, and commission amounts may vary based on performance 

4. Tracking, Review & Commission Validation 

  • All referrals, sales, and commissions are tracked automatically by our affiliate partner, ReferralCandy
  • After each sale, a purchase review period applies. This review period allows time for refunds, cancellations, or fraud checks before commissions are approved
  • The review period is 2 days. Only sales that successfully pass the review period and are confirmed as valid by ReferralCandy will be eligible for commission
  • Tail Tips cannot manually approve, add, or adjust commissions outside of ReferralCandy’s system 

5. Payments & Payout Schedule 

  • Cash commissions are processed automatically by ReferralCandy
  • Commissions are paid after ReferralCandy successfully charges Tail Tips for the total value of affiliate rewards 
  • This charge occurs monthly, alongside our regular ReferralCandy billing cycle Once payment has been successfully processed: 1. Tail Tips is charged for approved affiliate commissions 2. The payment is successfully completed 3. Cash commissions are automatically sent via PayPal within 1 to 3 days. The total time before an affiliate receives payment is calculated as follows: Purchase review period (2 days) + monthly billing cycle + 1–3 days PayPal processing time.
  • To receive commission payouts, affiliates must:
  • Have an active and valid PayPal account.
  • Ensure their PayPal account is linked to the same email address used during affiliate registration Tail Tips is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect PayPal details, inactive accounts, or third-party payment processing issues. 

6. Customer Discount 

  • Customers using an affiliate link receive 10% off eligible orders • A minimum spend of £15 applies (excluding shipping fee and other discounts)
  • Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated

7. Promotional Guidelines Affiliates must: 

  • Promote Tail Tips honestly and accurately
  • Clearly disclose the affiliate relationship where required (e.g. #ad or affiliate link)
  • Avoid misleading, false, or exaggerated claims
  • Not bid on Tail Tips’ brand name or trademarks in paid advertising without prior consent.

8. Programme Changes & Termination

Tail Tips reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time. Affiliate accounts may be suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms, misuse, or fraudulent activity.

9. Limitation of Liability Tail Tips is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of potential earnings. 

10. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
